“Why CooptyLew?” you ask. Well… since you asked, it all began right after I married my husband. I am an art teacher and my students had known me for almost a decade as Ms. Cooper. They had resistance to change. And rather than force change upon my students, I told them they could no longer call me Ms. Cooper, but they could integrate the two names, my maiden and my married, into one name. And so it began. What was sort of a joke turned into an art studio and a great way for those same students to locate me later in life! ❤️I strongly believe in the power of art and ancient systems (tarot, astrology, human design) for emotional healing and wellness, and it is my ultimate passion, as an artist, to teach others how to use these resources in this way… They speak seductively to the artist in me and I'm quite fascinated by the intersection of art, spirituality, and psychology that exists within them.
