My sister would have had her 48th birthday today. We celebrate nonetheless.
It is so hard.
It is so hard to live without her.
It is so hard to celebrate her in her absence.
And, unbelievably… It is so fucking hard to make her a cake and sing to her without bawling my eyes out.
We do it nonetheless.
And we will do it every year.
